Visual Packaging Systems Model# - ESDS6C1822 blister sealer. Has 18" x 22" seal area. Max blister depth 3 1/4". Seal pressure 5000 lb @ 100 psi. Seal temp: 0-600 deg f. Seal time: 0-99 seconds. Dwell time: 0-99 seconds. Hot plate: teflon sheet covered. Cycle speed: variable 1-10 on average. Elec: 1/60/208V.
The machine is considered a 6 station rotary blister sealer. It has extra large seal boards 18" x 22". In the current configuration it last ran at 10 cycles a minute ( 2 up ), so last producing 20 packs per minute. The package ran was a "mock-clam blister". The machine runs faster on "face-blisters". The machine uses a "Hot Plate Seal" to seal the cartons. Was only used for one customer, so has had very light use, around 500,000 cycles. This is a hand load design, does not include product feeders.
